Freelance Writer, Games Designer, Podcaster
So not been as active here as I am working from home, producing content for Darker Days Radio/Darkhammer, and writing for Cubicle 7's Warhammer rpgs.
But this weekend is the Onyx Path Con, for which I will be running a streamed game on the Sunday at 9pm BST, with other games going on with writers and creators of these games.
Also been painting a fair bit too.
So painted a new unit of Chainrasps for Age of Sigmar. Took about 5 hours on and off, using contrast paints.
Here is a side by side with the paint scheme of the rest of the army. So the new unit is themed to the realm of fire.
Released onto the ST Vault a new scenario for Chronicles of Darkness.
Chris and Mike explore The City of the Damned- Mordheim - and how you can use this excellent skirmish game setting and ideas from the wargame in your games of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay.
If you want more content go back to our interview with Tuomas Pirinen and Andy Chambers http://podcast.darker-days.org/e/darker-days-radio-episode-71/

“It is the city of mirrors, the city of mirages, at once solid and liquid, at once air and stone.” Erica Jong Venice is a unique city for the Lost. It is the fairy tale city, a city of mirrors, and a city of inversion. The Carnival rules all, even the Gentry. Slave becomes master, master becomes slave, and the Lost take back their mortal flesh. Within is an extensive history of Venice, both real and Fae. There is a detailed look at the Court of Carnival, the roles within this unique court, plus new rules and powers. Furthermore there are 30+ characters provided for use in your Venice chronicle, including Fae, Hobgoblins and Charlatans. Finally there are a few story seeds to get you started. Venice Unmasked is created for Changeling: the Lost 1st edition, though the setting and characters are still applicable for 2nd edition, and in future an update of rules and characteristics will be provided. This book is also filled with story hooks and ideas that an be used in Vampire, Geist, Mage and Mummy. Venice Unmasked is a product of Darker Days Publishing. Want to learn more? I thought I would share this classic episode of Darker Days Radio where we talk about games design with Andy Chambers and Tuomas Pirinen
Mike, Chris, and James are joined by legendary game designers Andy Chambers and Tuomas Pirinen. This episode's discussion explores game mechanics design and how it reinforces the narrative of play, as well as how mechanics can be altered to change the intended gameplay. Special discussion is of course reserved for the classic Games Workshop games Necromunda, Battlefleet Gothic, and Mordheim!
